Enjoy being the bride! Save yourself and your family from all the stress. Did you know the average wedding requires over 150 hours of planning time? With A Perfect Plan Events, Sharon Rumsey (your wedding bestie), will be your full-service, experienced professional guiding you every step of the way. In addition to nearly unlimited access to Sharon and her expertise, you will also have access to Sharon’s vendor black book of reliable contacts in the Kentuckiana area.
At this meeting, my job is to LISTEN. I want to get to know you, and to really understand your overall wedding vision. I will ask A LOT of questions, like your favorite foods, flowers, music. I will want to know your story, so that we can make your wedding personal. After this meeting I will know your wedding “vibe”.
This will include budget, order of planning tasks, and month by month checklist.
Color Palette, Style -Formal, Bo-Ho chic, Rustic, Romantic or beautiful mixture.
A Perfect Plan’s virtual planning software, that allows each couple to have full access to everything pertaining to their wedding 24/7. I will create your wedding in Aisle Planner and then you will have access to add to your page… a wedding website, design board, color palette…all the things!
I’ll be right beside you, asking the right questions, and helping you make the best choice for your day.
You will have access to Sharon’s huge vendor network, and we will point you in the right direction to stay within budget.
We will help you evaluate transportation needs for both your wedding party and your guests. Once we have agreed upon what is needed, we will source the appropriate vehicles for you and create a schedule.
We are right beside you at every vendor meeting, not only to review contracts but to give expert guidance.
Including setting appointments, negotiation, and acting as your spokesperson as needed.
We will create a detailed itinerary for the entire wedding weekend. Including hair and makeup schedule, coordination of vendor arrival, ceremony and reception flow, transportation and all the things. Then we will take care of distributing this timeline to all vendors, bridal party and VIP guests.
To include arrival and set up times, and time to break down after event. Loading and unloading instructions as well as any specific venue guidelines.
If event security is desired, we will source an appropriate vendor and create their schedule.
Two weeks out and then again at 48 hours out from wedding day to assure all details are set, and we are all on the same page.
We will help you create your wedding party line up taking in to consideration etiquette, tradition and most importantly your wishes.
We create a diagram for ceremony seating so that all parents and VIPs know exactly where to go on wedding day.
Lead planner will be present to coordinate and conduct ceremony rehearsal.
Lead planner will arrive at the beginning of hair and makeup and be with you until your reception is over.
We will bring our A team!
With donning dress, and getting ready photos.
Assistance with expediting photos after ceremony, gathering items for detail shot, as well as creating a timeline that sets your photographer up for success.
We will take care of lining up your wedding party in the correct order, cueing everyone when to walk, making sure you look your best before you step down the aisle and gathering everyone after ceremony for photos.
We will see that is is signed appropriately and ready for mail.
To assure that reception flows smoothly and according to timeline, to make sure you get the most out of your venue time.
Then sending them with the person of your choice.
We will have a detailed meeting prior to your wedding to discuss what to do with décor, cards/gifts, left over alcohol, left over food and cake.
Dealing with any concerns or emergencies that may arise so that you are free to enjoy your day with your family and friends. STRESS FREE!
This package is designed for small, intimate weddings, no more than 50 guests. Usually held at a family
home, family farm or other privately owned property. However, if you would like us to find you a venue
that fits just right, we can do that too! This may be what you wanted and had planned all along, or
maybe is what you have decided to do since life in 2020 changed your plans. Either way, we are here to
make it happen, and make it happen beautifully!

Share your spreadsheet and pick up your bouquet! Let’s do some planning together! Every wedding has different needs and we certainly can’t fit everything into one box. Our A La Carte services allow us to tailor services specifically to your wedding needs. These services may also be added to the complete wedding package. For example, we can offer the following at a flat rate of $50 an hour.

How do I even begin to put into words the time, effort, and love that Sharon poured into helping my dreams become reality??
Sharon is a rare find as she believes in building relationships and truly navigating your crazy into a plan. Planning a wedding during COVID is a HUGE task. Sharon was in constant contact with all of my vendors as well as my entire bridal party to ensure everyone was on the same page, and no detail was missed. Having a flawless wedding is almost non-existent, but having a flawless wedding during a global pandemic is a whole different story. There's no blue print for this! Sharon was my shoulder to cry on, and was able to talk me through my spirals. In the end, it was so worth it. I was able to have the wedding of my dreams and forget the crazy of the world for a night. I got my happily ever after and couldn't have had it without Sharon! Every client of hers occupies a spot in her heart, I could not recommend her enough!
